Mario Gotze out for at least six weeks

Borussia Dortmund will have to make do without the services of Mario Gotze for at least six weeks.

The 19-year-old has been struggling with persistent injuries to his hip and groin.

The club have now confirmed that the winger will miss training for the next two weeks, before resuming a personalised plan with specific rehabilitation exercises.

Gotze, who is a reported transfer target for Manchester United and Arsenal, is not expected to return until March at the earliest.
