Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has praised his side's resilience, after they went a goal down after just 50 seconds in their 4-2 win over Mainz 05.
Klopp described the opening goal as "slapstick", after Elkin Soto scored a looping shot from well outside the area following a failed clearance from goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller.
However, the Dortmund boss is pleased with how his side came back, scoring four goals at home and recording successive victories in the league.
"We deserved to win. This was a big win for us as it was was a six-point game," Klopp told reporters after the game.
"But the severity of our task is unaffected. The whole season remains a big challenge for us.
"The beginning of the game was horrible, with Mainz scoring in the first minute. The goal was slapstick; it was a terrible start. But we responded very well. We knew that we would come back if we just kept playing our game."
Dortmund next face Stuttgart in the league and will be hoping to make it a hat-trick of wins next week.
