Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel has called on his side to keep progressing ahead of their upcoming clash with Augsburg in the Bundesliga.

BVB were able to register a hard-fought victory against hosts Qabala in the Europa League on Thursday, and the club's coach has insisted that his side needs to continue building ahead of Sunday's league game.

"We have to keep at it. In Baku, it was a significant step forward in possession and dominance - something we lost against Mainz. We had good counter-pressing," Tuchel told reporters on Saturday.

"Against Augsburg, it is important to get the right mix. It will probably be up to us to dictate the game. We expect a tough game against Augsburg."

Dortmund currently hold second spot in the league standings.
