Preview: Borussia Dortmund vs. Eintracht Braunschweig

Sports Mole looks ahead to Borussia Dortmund's first home match of the new Bundesliga campaign against Eintracht Braunschweig.

Borussia Dortmund could be without midfield linchpin Ilkay Gundogan for this weekend's Bundesliga clash with newly-promoted Eintracht Braunschweig.

Gundogan came off with a back complaint during Germany's 3-3 draw with Paraguay on Wednesday, with coach Jurgen Klopp unlikely to risk the playmaker despite the problem being minor.

Jakub Blaszczykowski could be restored to the starting XI as Dortmund reshuffle in midfield, with last week's hat-trick hero Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang moved to the left wing for a home debut.

Goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller is back from suspension and should return for the hosts, while summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan has an outside chance of making the bench after returning to full training last week.

Braunschweig will be without defender Deniz Dogan on Sunday through injury, while Torsten Oehrl is fighting to replace Simeon Jackson in attack.

Possible lineups:

Dortmund: Weidenfeller, Schmelzer, Hummels, Subotic, Grosskreutz, Sahin, Bender, Aubameyang, Reus, Blaszczykowski, Lewandowski

Braunschweig: Petkovic, Elabdellaoui, Bicakic, Correira, Reichel, Theuerkauf, Boland, Caligiuri, Kratz, Kruppke, Jackson

Sports Mole says: 4-1
