Ilkay Gundogan has revealed that he can see himself staying at Borussia Dortmund beyond the expiration of his current contract.
The highly-rated midfielder inked a one-year extension to quell speculation over his future, having looked certain to leave Signal Iduna Park earlier this summer.
However, the 24-year-old, whose new contract expires in 2017, hinted that he could stay at the club a little longer than that.
"I am heading into my fifth year at Dortmund and I am feeling very well here," Gundogan told Bild.
"I can see myself staying at BVB for a longer period. We will have to wait and see how things develop."
Gundogan, who has been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United in the past, joined Dortmund from Nuremberg in 2011.
