Havard Nordtveit, Martin Stranzl doubts for Borussia Monchengladbach

Lucien Favre admits that Havard Nordtveit and Martin Stranzl might miss out against Augsburg.

Borussia Monchengladbach could be without midfielder Havard Nordtveit for the visit of Augsburg on Friday night, according to coach Lucien Favre.

Nordtveit broke his nose against Stuttgart on Sunday, while Favre said that the match might come to soon for Martin Stranzl, who has recently recovered from illness.

"Havard had an anaesthetic on Monday. We'll have to see whether he can train and possibly play on Friday," Favre told reporters.

"Martin's been out for a while and had to take antibiotics. We'll decide on Friday whether he's fit again."

Gladbach are currently seventh in the Bundesliga.
