Bournemouth are reportedly set to pursue Fulham boss Scott Parker as a replacement for current manager Jonathan Woodgate, whose contract expires in the coming weeks.

Bournemouth have reportedly set their sights on Fulham boss Scott Parker as a replacement for current manager Jonathan Woodgate.

After taking over from Jason Tindall in February, Woodgate led the Cherries into the Championship playoffs where they fell short in the semi-final, losing to eventual winners Brentford.

Woodgate's contract at the Vitality Stadium was only a short-term agreement so his deal on the South Coast is due to expire in the next few weeks.

According to The Mirror, Bournemouth will look to pursue Parker, who the Cherries were interested in when Eddie Howe left the club last summer.

Despite Fulham's relegation from the Premier League, Parker has gained plaudits which have led him to being linked with the vacant Tottenham Hotspur job.

Parker was promoted from assistant manager at Craven Cottage to manager in 2019 and has overseen 105 games with Fulham, including promotion to the Premier League.
