Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe expects Stoke City to climb Premier League table

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes that winless Stoke City are in a false position and will soon start climbing the Premier League table.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has said that Stoke City are in a false position and will climb the Premier League table soon.

The Cherries face the Potters, who are winless in six league matches this season, at the Britannia Stadium tomorrow.

Despite their slow start to the season, Howe has been impressed by Mark Hughes's side and believes that their 18th place does not represent the football that they have been playing.

"When I have reviewed Stoke's games I have been very impressed," Howe told reporters.

"They don't look like a team that haven't won yet. They are the kind of side that you will see in a few weeks and they will be in a very different position.

"But we don't need to worry about that. We know that if we are at our best levels we can beat anyone in this league, so it's down to us."

Tomorrow's game is the first match between Stoke and Bournemouth since February 2002, when the two sides were in League One.
