Bournemouth's Eddie Howe named Manager of the Month for March

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has been named the Championship Manager of the Month for March as his side continue to fight for promotion to the Premier League.

The Cherries took 13 points from five games last month, one of which was a crucial 3-0 win over fellow promotion chasers Middlesbrough at the Goldsands Stadium.

Howe, who led the team from League One to the second tier of English football in 2013, also witnessed his side score 15 goals in March.

The South Coast side are currently at the top of the Championship table, but just two points separate fourth from first with five games left to play.

Bournemouth are away to Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.
