Eddie Howe unhappy with Bournemouth away form

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe admits that his side's away form is a concern following their 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has admitted that his side's away form is a concern following their 2-0 loss to Middlesbrough this afternoon.

The Cherries are yet to pick up an away win in the Premier League this season, amassing just two points from a possible 15 after today's defeat at the Riverside.

Howe acknowledged that his side were not good enough to warrant anything from the game, but is hopeful that they can turn their away form around sooner rather than later.

"Not a great performance from our perspective. We had our chances in the game. The goals we conceded were really disappointing," he told reporters.

"It's been a surprise to us we haven't done better away from home. Our away form last season was excellent. For whatever reason we haven't quite got that momentum yet and we have to build it quite quickly."

The defeat ended a four-match unbeaten streak for Bournemouth.
