The Swans captain has recovered from a knee problem and is one of three changes for Carlos Carvalhal.

Fernandez, Nathan Dyer and Tom Carroll are in the starting XI, with Kyle Naughton, Andy King and Sam Clucas making way.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, meanwhile, has made two changes to his side.

Andrew Surman and Marc Pugh are back among the starters, while Dan Gosling and Lys Mousset drop to the bench.

Tyrone Mings is involved for the first time since September as he too is among the substitutes.
