Goalkeeper Shwan Jalal back at Bournemouth

Bournemouth recall goalkeeper Shwan Jalal from his loan spell at Oxford United.

Goalkeeper Shwan Jalal has been recalled from his loan spell at Oxford United by Bournemouth.

Jalal, 30, had been cover for Ryan Clarke at Oxford but because of Ryan Allsop's red card against Leeds last night, the Cherries called him back.

Oxford back-up keeper Max Crocombe has just returned to training so Jalal's loss won't be felt as much.

"Max has stepped things up and was due to train fully tomorrow anyway, so the timing fits in for both ourselves and Bournemouth," U's manager Chris Wilder told the club website.

Jalal is now in contention to fill in for Allsop in Saturday's home match against Millwall.
