Uruguay captain Diego Lugano believes that Brazil striker Neymar tries to "fool" referees by going to ground.

Lugano's side face Brazil in the semi-final of the Confederations Cup later today and the 32-year-old is hopeful that referee is wise to the alleged tricks of the Barcelona forward.

Lugano told reporters: "Neymar is lightweight – he falls to the ground and fools the referee.

"He can feign a foul and we must be watchful that nobody is fooled by his ability. The Chilean ref assignment is a coincidence. He will be under bigger pressure - I just hope he makes no mistakes."

Uruguay hit top form in their last match as they beat Tahiti convincingly to advance to the last four of the competition.
