Team News: Brazil's Hulk misses Olympic final

Brazil's Hulk and Lucas are to start on the substitutes' bench in their Olympic final against Mexico.

Brazil's Hulk will start on the substitutes' bench in their Olympic final against Mexico after being dubbed unfit for the starting 11.

The Porto forward will be joined on the bench by Lucas as the South Americans name a side unchanged from the one that triumphed over South Korea in the semi-final.

Mexico's Giovani dos Santos, who has been influential throughout the tournament, will also start on the bench. The 23-year-old picked up a muscle injury earlier in the competition.

Brazil: Gabriel; Rafael, Thiago Silva, Juan, Alex Sandro; Marcelo, Romulo, Sandro, Oscar; Neymar, Damiao

Mexico: Corona; Jimenez, Mier, Chavez, Reyes; Herrera, Salcido, Enriquez, Aquino; Fabian, Peralta

The gold medal match between Brazil and Mexico kicks off at 3pm.
