Romario: 'Neymar can be bigger than Lionel Messi'

Romario believes that Brazil captain Neymar can be "bigger" than his Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi.

Former Brazil striker Romario has claimed that Neymar has the potential to achieve more in his career than Lionel Messi.

Neymar has scored 42 goals for his country at the age of 22 and has enjoyed an impressive start to the season at Barcelona.

"He has everything to be bigger than Messi," he told Revista Trip. "Messi is already a part of history but Neymar can make an even bigger impact.

"Messi may not have another World Cup in which to compete and win, but Neymar has three or four more to contest."

Romario scored 55 goals in 70 appearances for Brazil and helped his country to win the World Cup in 1994.
