Hulk: 'David Luiz is the best'

Brazil forward Hulk gives his support to stand-in captain David Luiz ahead of the team's World Cup semi-final showdown with Germany.

Brazil forward Hulk has given his backing to stand-in captain David Luiz ahead of the team's World Cup semi-final with Germany.

The enigmatic defender will skipper the host nation in Belo Horizonte tonight due to the absence of the suspended Thiago Silva.

"Luiz is just the best," Hulk told reporters. "He's very caring and very attentive, no matter who he's with. It's not every day that you come across someone like him."

Luiz, who recently joined Paris Saint-Germain from Chelsea for around £50m, has scored two goals in five games for Brazil so far at the tournament.
