Half-Time Report: Brentford ahead against Preston North End

Alan Judge's goal on the half-hour mark puts Brentford ahead against Preston North End at Griffin Park.

Brentford have taken a 1-0 lead against Preston North End at half time in their League One clash at Griffin Park.

The hosts were the better side right from the start, as Alan Judge and Clayton Donaldson had chances in the opening 15 minutes.

The Bees eventually took the lead on the half-hour mark from the penalty spot.

Bailey Wright brought down George Saville inside the box, and Judge made no mistake from 12 yards.

Mark Warburton's side will be promoted to the Championship if they win, Leyton Orient lose at Crawley Town and Rotherham fail to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon.
