Championship side Brentford have reportedly closed in on the appointment of Marinus Dijkhuizen as their new head coach.
The Bees are without a boss following the exit of Mark Warburton and Excelsior's Dijkhuizen is said to be the man chosen by club owner Matthew Benham to take over.
According to Voetbal International, Dijkhuizen is in talks with Brentford over their vacancy and will lead the Championship club next season.
Dijkhuizen took over at Excelsior last year and guided them to 15th in the Eredivisie this term.
