Brentford goalkeeper David Lee has claimed that Mark Warburton has the ability to become England manager.
Despite leading Brentford to promotion last season and keeping them in the race for a spot in the Premier League during the current campaign, it was revealed earlier this week that Warburton would part company with the club in May.
Lee has joined his teammates in praising his current boss, and he has tipped him to move on to bigger things in the future.
"I can't speak highly enough about Mark Warburton," Lee told talkSPORT. "His climb is incredible, but it's down to hard work and the way he understands players.
"Although he didn't play at a high level, he knows players. His man management is very good and tactically he's spot on. He'll get a good club. I think he can be England manager.
"The way he operates is excellent. His players go onto the pitch high on confidence. At the end of the season he will be fine."
Brentford are currently seventh in the Championship, one point outside the playoffs.
