It was an evening of away wins in League One on Tuesday with only one home win and two draws.

Two goals from Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro saw Tranmere Rovers go top of League One as they came from behind to win 3-1 at Scunthorpe United this afternoon.

Second-placed Notts County were beaten 2-1 at home courtesy of a 90th-minute winner from Stevenage midfielder Robin Shroot, while Swindon Town also lost at home to a single Colchester United goal.

There were also away wins for Sheffield United, Leyton Orient and Portsmouth, who won 2-1 at Hartlepool United, Walsall and Yeovil Town respectively.

Crawley Town secured a comfortable 3-1 win over Bournemouth, while second-half goals from Scott Laird and Stuart Beavon saw Preston North End beat Doncaster Rovers by the same score.

Oldham Athletic picked up their second win of the season, beating Crewe Alexandra 2-0 at Gresty Road.

Elsewhere at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry City and MK Dons drew 1-1, while Brentford against Shrewsbury Town finished goalless.

Bury Town's match against Carlisle United was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
