Reading 'lining up bid for Brentford striker Scott Hogan'

Brentford striker Scott Hogan is linked with a move to Reading in the January transfer window.

Reading are allegedly planning to make a move for Brentford striker Scott Hogan when the transfer window reopens.

Royals boss Jaap Stam has identified the forward as one of his top targets for January, according to HITC.

Championship outfit Reading are said to be seeking to add another striker to their squad following injuries to Yann Kermorgant and Deniss Rakels.

Hogan has been in prolific form for Brentford this season, scoring 11 goals in 20 matches for a record of one strike every other game.

Norwich City are also rumoured to be monitoring the striker's progress.
