Half-Time Report: Lee Gregory gives Millwall the lead

Lee Gregory gives Millwall a 1-0 lead going into the break of their crucial Championship match against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Lee Gregory has given Millwall a 1-0 lead going into the break of their crucial Championship match against Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.

Brighton made a bright start to the match and Jake Forster-Caskey did well to tee up Solly March, whose deflected effort was saved by David Forde.

Their good early work, however, was undone by Gregory, who slotted home to put Millwall in front after latching on to Martyn Woolford's deflected shot.

The goal was just reward for the forward, who chased down every lost cause and pressured the Brighton defence during an impressive half.

Brighton's response came through Forster-Caskey, who created space for himself 25 yards from goal, but Forde reacted well to push his powerful strike away.
