Coaching duo leave Brighton & Hove Albion

Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion announce the departure of coaching duo Juan Torrijo Navaro and Ruben Martinez.

Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion have announced the departure of coaching duo Juan Torrijo Navaro and Ruben Martinez.

The pair, who joined the Seagulls' coaching staff with Oscar Garcia, have followed the Spaniard on the way out after he resigned at the end of the season.

"The club would like to thank Juan and Ruben for their hard work last season, and wish them well for the future," read a statement on the club website.

It was announced yesterday that Garcia had returned to previous club Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.

Former Liverpool player and Bayer Leverkusen boss Sami Hyypia is the new odds-on favourite to replace Garcia.
