Brighton & Hove Albion have announced that they have reached an agreement to sign winger Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaelland this summer.
The 19-year-old will officially complete his move to the Seagulls when the transfer window re-opens later this year, and has agreed to sign a long-term contract that runs until June 2029.
Osman was linked with a number of clubs in January, with West Ham United allegedly one of those who held advanced talks before failing to agree a fee.
Brighton have since swooped in to win the race for Osman's signature ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, and it is understood that they will pay around £16m to Nordsjaelland for the winger.
"We're looking forward to the opportunity of working with Ibrahim," technical director David Weir told Brighton's official website.
"He's a young and exciting prospect, but for now it's important that we give him the space to focus fully on Nordsjaelland, where he is enjoying a good season.
"Once the current season is over and he's had the opportunity to rest during the summer, we will bring him into our environment where he will get the time and support he needs to settle here in England."

Osman was born in Ghana and began his career in the nation's Right to Dream football academy, which has produced a plethora of established names in recent years including Brighton's Simon Adingra.
The winger made the move to Europe to join Danish club Nordsjaelland in early 2023 and he quickly cemented his place in the first team, gaining experience in the Danish Sueprliga and Europa Conference League.
Osman, who is comfortable operating on either flank, has made a total of 29 first-team appearances for Nordsjaelland so far this season, contributing with four goals and five assists.
The teenager will soon link up with a Brighton side that has built a reputation of recruiting hidden gems from across the globe and developing them into first-team stars, who either remain at the club or are sold on for significant profit.
Before welcoming Osman to the club, Seagulls boss Roberto De Zerbi will soon have January signing Valentin Barco at his disposal, as soon as the 19-year-old left flanker completes his spell on international duty with Argentina Under-23s at the CONMEBOL qualifiers ahead of this summer's Paris Olympic Games.
Brighton currently sit eighth in the Premier League table, three points behind Manchester United in sixth, while they are also still competing in the Europa League knockout round and have advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
