Cardiff City have made a bid for Brighton & Hove Albion winger Craig Noone, according to Sky Sports News.
Bluebirds manager Malky Mackay is currently lacking a wide man and has identified Noone as the ideal player to fill the void.
The 24-year-old has been one of Brighton's star performers this season as the Seagulls have adapted to life in the Championship.
Boss Gustavo Poyet is keen to keep hold of the midfielder, although he recently admitted that he would be forced to sell members of his squad should a sizeable offer be received.
