Henrique Silva's fifth-minute penalty was enough for Brisbane Roar to inflict a fifth defeat of the A-League season on Western Sydney Wanderers.
A 1-0 loss left the Wanderers winless this campaign and rooted to the foot of the table, while Roar climb two places to seventh in the standings.

Seyi Adeleke felled Mensur Kurtishi inside the area early on and Henrique stepped up to notch his sixth goal of the season from the penalty spot.
Sydney responded well and perhaps deserved to be level at the break after threatening through Vitor Saba and Labinot Haliti, who saw a good header saved by Jamie Young.
Young also kept out Romeo Castelen as the hosts continued to push for an equaliser at the Parramatta Stadium, but Brisbane withstood the pressure and went in search of a second to kill the game off.
Jean Carlos Solorzano shot narrowly wide after dribbling past two defenders, and then struck the post from distance in the 86th minute, but the Roar were thanking the woodwork so soon after cursing it.
Substitute Nikita Rukavytsya hit the crossbar for Sydney in the first minute of stoppage time as Tony Popovic's side lost for the first time in four, following a run of three consecutive draws.
