Bristol City have held Portuguese Primeira Liga side Braga to a 1-1 draw in a pre-season friendly at Estadio Municipal de Braga.
The visitors broke the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes when a poor clearance from Braga goalkeeper Matheus set up Luke Freeman to drill in a dipping shot from 25 yards out.
Crislan had a chance to get the hosts back on level terms shortly after, slicing just wide after Aden Flint had blocked an effort from Rafa Silva.
Captain Pedro Santos also looked for an equaliser for the Portuguese side before the break, curling a free kick past the wall, but he was unable to sneak it inside the right-hand post, while heading over from a corner later on.
Braga continued to look the more attacking in the second half, with Andre Pinto getting forward to try his luck, but the defender's finish was straight at the keeper.
Alan came off the bench as the home side still needed a goal inside the final 25 minutes, but Max O'Leary made another save to deny the Brazilian striker.
Braga were back on level terms a couple of minutes later though as Joan Roman crossed the ball in for Fabio Martins, leaving the Portuguese striker with a simple finish for the equaliser.
Chances were scarce for the remaining time, with neither keeper being tested in the final 10 minutes, ensuring that the sides shared the honours.
