Birmingham City's Will Packwood extends loan at Bristol Rovers

Birmingham City defender Will Packwood extends his loan at Bristol Rovers until January 11.

Birmingham City defender Will Packwood has had his loan at League Two side Bristol Rovers extended until January 11.

The 20-year-old American has made four appearances for Rovers since joining last month in an initial one-month deal, earning 'man of the match' in two of those.

"We are delighted that Will is extending his spell with us, he is a good player and he is going to grow into a very good player," Bristol manager John Ward told the club website.

Rovers are currently 20th in League Two, three points above the bottom two.
