Half-Time Report: Andre Gray double puts Burnley in control

Andre Gray's brace is the difference between Burnley and Fulham at the break, as the hosts hold a 2-0 lead at Turf Moor.

Two first-half goals from in-form striker Andre Gray have given Burnley a 2-0 lead over Fulham at half time in this evening's Championship clash.

The early warning signs were there for the visitors, as Gray managed to get in behind and pull the ball back for David Jones to shoot wide.

Sam Vokes then jumped highest to meet Ben Mee's cross from the left, which he failed to keep down to the relief of stand-in Fulham stopper Joe Lewis.

Burnley did make a breakthrough 18 minutes in, however, thanks to Gray's sixth goal in the same number of outings which came via a back-post header.

The in-form forward punished the Cottagers for a second time later in the half, this time letting his feet do the talking by latching on to Scott Arfield's through-ball and calmly slotting the ball home.
