Burnley quiet on Eddie Howe Bournemouth speculation

Burnley have attempted to refute rumours that manager Eddie Howe is poised to make a return to Bournemouth.

The Championship manager has been linked with a return to the club that he left last year following the sacking of Paul Groves.

Burnley have claimed that business continues as usual and that Howe will take today's scheduled training session, according to Sky Sports News.

Howe, who took charge of Bournemouth in 2008, is odds-on favourite to go back to the Cherries.
