Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 34-year-old rejoined the Clarets in July 2019 and has made 159 appearances across all competitions since switching The Hawthorns for Turf Moor.
Rodriguez was a key player in Burnley's promotion-winning campaign last season, scoring 10 times in 29 Championship appearances as Vincent Kompany's side lifted the second-tier crown.
However, the forward's game time in the Premier League has been limited in 2023-24, with the attacker starting just seven top-flight matches for the strugglers.
Following a good run of form at Southampton over a decade ago, the ex-West Bromwich Albion man received an England call-up and made one international appearance for the Three Lions.

Stoke City keen on Burnley's Rodriguez?
According to TEAMtalk, Stoke are interested in securing the services of Burnley striker Rodriguez ahead of the upcoming 2024-25 campaign.
The Potters are looking to overhaul their attacking ranks in the summer and view the 34-year-old as a player who can provide a wealth of experience to their squad.
It is likely that Stoke would be able to bring Rodriguez to the bet365 Stadium on a free transfer due to Rodriguez's contract situation at Turf Moor.
The 34-year-old's deal with the Clarets expires at the conclusion of the current campaign and there is not believed to be a new offer on the table at Turf Moor.
It is understood that the Staffordshire club have monitored the availability of Rodriguez for a while and attempted to sign him in the past.

Burnley's striker situation
With Burnley sitting six points behind 17th-placed Nottingham Forest in the Premier League standings, Kompany's men are preparing - in the background at least - for a return to the Championship.
A key striker for the Clarets since his arrival in the January transfer window has been David Datro Fofana, however the Ivorian will not be at Turf Moor next season.
The 21-year-old is only on loan from Chelsea for the remainder of the campaign and it is extremely unlikely that he would ply his trade in the second tier.
Joining the club in January 2023, Lyle Foster is a striking option who could remain at Burnley if they fail to avoid an immediate relegation to the Championship.
