Michael Duff has agreed to extend his Burnley career by a further year, having signed a new short-term deal at Turf Moor.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche recently revealed that the 37-year-old, who is currently 15th in the club's all-time appearance makers list, was in his plans for the coming season.
Duff featured 21 times for Burnley in their Premier League campaign last term, impressing enough to earn a fresh contract to keep him in place for a 12th season.
Fellow defender Steven Reid announced his playing retirement in May following a succession of injuries.
