Burnley have announced that Dean Marney has agreed a new one-year deal.
The 31-year-old had his season cut short when he suffered a serious knee injury during the Clarets' 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion in February.
Prior to that, Marney made 22 appearances for Burnley, and despite his injury concerns, the midfielder has been offered a new one-year deal with the option of a further year.
Marney, who joined Burnley in 2010, is aiming to return to the pitch later this year.
