Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's League Two action as bottom-of-the-table Hartlepool United pick up a rare three points against Cheltenham Town.

Hartlepool United secured a rare victory and only their third home win of the season by beating Cheltenham Town in League Two this afternoon.

Scott Fenwick and loanee Rakish Bingham scored either side of half time to give the North East side a much needed three points.

Newport County continued their strong home form to move up to third in the table. Mark Byrne scored a controversial goal, which was originally given offside but was then overturned by the referee, to give them a 1-0 win over Portsmouth.

Wycombe maintain top spot, as Fred Onyedinma scored his second goal in as many games to win all three points against York City at Adams Park.

Liam Hughes scored the only goal of the game to give Cambridge United the victory over relegation strugglers Carlisle United.

Marc Richards and John-Joe O'Toole both scored in the first half against Exeter City to wrap up all three points for Northampton Town.

Goals from Tom Pett and Simon Walton boost Stevenage up to eighth in the table, a position outside the playoff places, as they beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1 at the Lamex Stadium.
