League Two roundup: Burton Albion stay second

Burton Albion maintained their 100% record in League Two with a 1-0 win against Exeter City on Tuesday evening.

Stuart Beavon's 40th-minute winner was enough for the home side, who stay second due to Morecambe's 1-0 win over Oxford United.

Andrew Managan scored twice as Shrewsbury Town hammered Accrington Stanley 4-0.

A dreadful few minutes for the visitors towards the end of the first half saw Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro and Connor Goldson add the other goals moments after goalkeeper Luke Simpson was sent off.

Cheltenham Town and Carlisle United drew 0-0, while Portsmouth went fourth in the division with a 2-0 win over Northampton Town.
