Burton Albion have signed ex-Leicester City defender George Taft after he was released by the Championship winners.
Taft joins Burton on a two-year deal after Leicester boss Nigel Pearson decided against offering the defender a contract extension.
Brewers boss Gary Rowett said: "George brings a lot of height, something that we probably lacked a bit last season."
Taft is 6'5" tall and came through the youth setup with the Foxes but never made a first-team appearance.
The 20-year-old has represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 level, while spending time on loan at Kettering Town, Karlstad BK and York City since 2011.
