Half-Time Report: Bury, Fleetwood Town level at the break after lively first half

Fleetwood Town twice come from behind to pull level at 2-2 with Bury in their League One clash, thanks to equalisers from Conor McLaughlin and Tyler Hornby-Forbes.

Fleetwood Town have twice come from behind to find themselves drawing 2-2 with Bury at half time in League One this evening.

Bury made perfect inroads in the opening minutes when they took the lead through Leon Clarke, who fired down the centre of goal following Tom Pope's incisive pass.

Town sought to bring themselves back into the contest and the away side almost found a leveller through Antoni Sarcevic and Tyler Hornby-Forbes, but they both had efforts saved by Christian Walton.

The visitors finally found an equaliser in the 17th minute when Conor McLaughlin headed in from Antoni Sarcevic's perfectly-timed cross.

Parity was not to last too long, however, given that Bury went back in front just two minutes later as Pope produced a timely ball across the face of the box, where Tom Soares was free to tuck into the bottom corner.

The first-half goals did not stop there, though, as Town responded yet again by finding another equaliser, this time as Tyler Hornby-Forbes fired into the bottom corner after being picked out by Jamie Proctor.
