Juventus win Serie A with a 2-0 win over Cagliari.

Juventus have won Serie A after a comfortable 2-0 win over Cagliari on Sunday.

It was the home side who started the better, but Juve took the lead after just six minutes when Mirko Vucinic converted from close range to send the Turin outfit into the lead.

Cagliari continued to dominate possession in the early stages of the half, but were struggling for any real invention with Juventus defending well.

Pepe might have extended the away side's lead after 30 minutes, but the Italian's volley drifted wide of the post, before he missed another glorious opportunity just before the break.

Juventus continued to dominate proceedings in the early stages of the second period, but chances remained few and far between, with a Vucinic effort after 57 minutes the first real chance of the second half.

It was 2-0 to Juventus after 74 minutes when Michele Canini could only find his own net after pressure from Pepe.

Chances remained scarce in the latter stages of the match, and with AC Milan losing at Inter Milan, Juve have secured this season's title.
