Cambuur will be looking to end a run of seven games without a victory across all competitions on Saturday when they welcome PEC Zwolle to the Cambuur Stadion.
Meanwhile, the visitors have an opportunity to avoid defeat for the fourth straight league game and continue their recent upturn in form.
Match preview
Cambuur were left red-faced following a 3-2 defeat to FC Utrecht at the Stadion Galgenwaard on Saturday.
Henk de Jong's men took a two-goal lead early on thanks to an Erik Schouten brace before Anastasios Douvikas restored parity with a quickfire double after which Henk Veerman grabbed a second-half winner.
The Yellow-Blues are still eighth in the Eredivisie table but have now fallen five points adrift in the race for the last Conference League playoff spot.
Next up is a clash versus an opposing side who they will be looking to complete a league double over off the back of a 2-1 win in November's reverse fixture.
Only Fortuna Sittard have conceded more goals on home turf than Saturday's hosts, with 21 goals conceded across 10 matches this term.
PEC Zwolle failed to pick up a third league win on the bounce following a 1-1 draw versus NEC at the Mac3Park Stadion on Saturday.
Dick Schreuder's men went behind in the 26th minute to Jordy Bruijn's opener but wasted no time in levelling matters through Daishawn Redan less than 60 seconds later.
The Blauwvingers have picked up seven of the last nine points available and are now seven points shy of safety with 13 rounds of matches left to go.
Finding the back of the net away from home has been a major weakness for Saturday's visitors who have only scored six times on the road so far.

Team News
Cambuur's Mees Hoedemakers was hauled off on the stroke of half time with an injury last time out, and the midfielder is a doubt for the hosts.
Mitchel Paulissen and Maxim Gullit are both not expected to feature as they continue to nurse knee and ankle injuries respectively.
Robin Maulun grabbed the winner in the reverse fixture, and the midfielder, who is currently on a run of six games without a goal, still poses a great threat nonetheless.
Siemen Voet received his marching orders midway through the second half of his side's last involvement and is eligible to take part this weekend.
The away side will also have to make do without the injured duo of Samir Lagsir and Sam Kersten, although the former is closing in on a return to action.
Cambuur possible starting lineup:
Stevens; Bangura, Schouten, Tol, Schmidt; Maulun, Jacobs, Sambissa; Uldrikis, Joosten, Kallon
PEC Zwolle possible starting lineup:
Lamprou; Van Wermeskerken, Nakayama, Van Polen; Anderson, Van den Belt, Clement, Reijnders; Darfalou, Saymak, Redan
We say: Cambuur 1-1 PEC Zwolle
Zwolle seem to have turned a corner in recent weeks and will be full of confidence heading into this one. That said, Cambuur are no pushovers themselves, so we are backing a share of the spoils with the sides settling for a point apiece.
