Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has insisted that he will not resign from his post following a disagreement with club owner Vincent Tan.
Mackay recently said that he was keen on signing three new players during January, but chief executive Simon Lim has claimed that Tan is "extremely upset" at the comments because no money would be available.
When questioned over his future in South Wales, Mackay told Radio Wales Sport: "I will not resign from my post.
"It would be wrong of me to walk away from a job because the owner doesn't want to give me money in January. I have been in situations before when a board has had no money."
Mackay, who joined Cardiff in 2011, guided the team to promotion to the Premier League last season.
