Middlesbrough came out on top against promotion-chasing rivals Cardiff in an entertaining affair this afternoon.
Bart Ogbeche put the visitors ahead after a quarter of an hour in controversial circumstances. Boro broke away and Ogbeche's effort deflected in but Cardiff felt that before the counter they should have had a penalty when Luke Steele bundled over Kevin McNaughton.
The home side equalised eight minutes later when Ben Turner met Peter Whittingham's flicked-on corner, before the result was turned around just before half time.
Scottish forward Kenny Miller drove forward and backheeled to the onrushing Aron Gunnarsson, who placed the ball past Steele.
Scott McDonald levelled the scores on the hour by tucking home Justin Hoyte's centre.
Tony Mowbray's side completed the turnaround when Faris Haroun chested down Julio Arca's cross and volleyed past David Marshall.
Boro leapfrog Cardiff into third with the win.
