Cardiff City have completed the signing of Queens Park Rangers defender Matthew Connolly.
The 24-year-old, who joined the club from Arsenal in 2008, had been expected to play a role for the R's this season.
However, the Welsh outfit have swooped to make the full-back part of their Championship promotion push.
Connolly could make his debut for the club this weekend.
