Eduardo Berizzo content with point

Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo says that he was pleased with his team's 1-1 draw with Real Betis at the weekend after playing most of the second period with 10 men.

Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo has admitted that, considering the circumstances, he was pleased with his side's 1-1 draw with Real Betis at the weekend.

Celta had to play the majority of the second period with 10 men after losing Jonny Castro to a red card, but managed to secure a point in Seville.

The draw kept Celta fourth in the La Liga table and Berizzo has said that he was "happy" with his team's application.

"The red card was a circumstance which forced us to defend. Still, I'm happy with the effort of the players and we rescued a point against a team who were very dangerous," Berizzo told reporters.

"Until the red, the game was winnable on the counter, but it was a different game after the red. It didn't seem worthy of a red, maybe it was a bit harsh, but mistakes like these can't happen."

Celta have only lost three of their 14 league matches this season.
