Luis Enrique thanks former club Celta Vigo after leaving the Spanish outfit to take charge of Barcelona.

Luis Enrique has thanked Celta Vigo's "players, employees and fans for the affection" that he received while in charge of the Spanish outfit.

The former Spanish international left his position with Celta at the weekend, before taking charge of former club Barcelona on a two-year contract.

"Thank you to the club from all my heart," Enrique tweeted.

"Players, employees and fans for the affection I received during this unforgettable year."

Enrique coached Barcelona B from 2008 to 2011 before moving on to Roma.
