Late goal gives Real Betis win

Real Betis take all three points against Celta Vigo with a late goal from Jorge Molina.

A goal inside the last 10 minutes from Jorge Molina was enough to give Real Betis victory over Celta Vigo in La Liga this evening.

Both sides had good chances to score in the opening half, the better of the opportunities falling to Real Betis.

Ruben Castro and Joel Campbell both forced saves from the Celta keeper, before Juan Carlos fired a strike over the bar.

Celta brought Toni and Carlos Bellvis on at the start of the second half as they sought to take control of the game.

Betis continued to create the more goal-scoring opportunities of the two sides, but the hosts saw more of the ball.

It looked like both sides had decided to settle for a draw until Nacho created a chance for Molina, who struck the ball from the centre of the box to secure all three points for the visitors.

The win moves Real Betis up to fifth in the La Liga table, while Celta remain 15th.
