Team News: James Forrest starts against AC Milan

James Forrest shakes off a hamstring injury to play for Celtic against AC Milan.

James Forrest will start Celtic's Champions League encounter with AC Milan after shaking off a hamstring problem that kept him out of Saturday's win at Aberdeen.

However, Neil Lennon must do without defenders Steven Mouyokolo and Adam Matthews due to injury, while midfielders Scott Brown and Nir Biton are missing through suspension.

Milan are without several players through injury including forward Stephan El Shaarawy, defender Philippe Mexes and Sulley Muntari, who limped out of the Rossonieri's 1-1 draw with Genoa at the weekend.

A win for Celtic and a defeat for Ajax at home to Barcelona would mean the Scottish champions would finish no lower than third in Group H.

Celtic: Forster, Lustig, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Izaguirre, Forrest, Kayal, Mulgrew, Boerrigter, Commons, Samaras

AC Milan: Abbiati, Zapata, Abate, Bonera, Birsa, Poli, Montolivo, Emmanuelson, de Jong, Kaka, Balotelli
