An ankle injury could keep Scott Brown out of action "for a while", according to Celtic manager Neil Lennon.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has accepted the fact that he could be without midfielder Scott Brown "for a while".

The Scotland international limped out of yesterday's Old Firm game with Rangers, suffering with an ankle injury that has already troubled him once this season.

"The ankle has gone again unfortunately," revealed Lennon after his side's 4-2 loss at Ibrox.

"He felt fine before the game and looked great for an hour. It looks as if he is going to be shut down for a while until we can let it settle."

Brown, 26, has made 100 appearances for the the Bhoys since joining the club in 2007.
