Gary Hooper eyeing new Celtic deal

Celtic striker Gary Hooper has revealed that he is keen to extend his contract with the club.

The 23-year-old has 18 months remaining on his current deal but has made it clear that he would like to lengthen his stay at Parkhead.

"I would be keen to talk [about a new deal]," Hooper told reporters. "I'm just here to score goals and to win games.

"I would be happy to stay and sign a contract. I couldn't be happier in Glasgow."

Hooper joined Celtic in 2010 from League One side Scunthorpe United.
