Celtic manager Neil Lennon has confirmed that defender Kevin Wilson will be out of action for up to 10 weeks after tearing his achilles.
The centre-back sustained the injury during the Hoops' win over Ross County in the Scottish Communities League Cup on Wednesday.
"It looks like anything up to eight to 10 weeks. He has a tear in his Achilles tendon," Lennon told Sky Sports News.
"He had the scan yesterday (Saturday) and the specialist said he would have to be out as long as that.
"It is a huge blow. We already have Emilio Izaguirre and Cha Du-ri out for a few weeks. It just means we have to re-jig things a little bit in defence."
The Bhoys face Udinese at Celtic Park in the Europa League on Thursday.
