The Scottish Football Association have charged Celtic boss Neil Lennon with using offensive, abusive or insulting language towards a match official in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Rangers.

Lennon was sent to the stands at half-time at Ibrox, with SFA compliance officer Vincent Lunny issuing a notice of complaint that Lennon had breached rule 203: "No member of Team Staff shall commit Misconduct at a match, including but not limited to committing acts of the kind described in the Schedule of Offences in Annex C."

Celtic duo Cha Du-Ri and Victor Wanyama were also given their marching orders during the explosive encounter.
